Naples #Artigiana is an event dedicated to multiculturalism in Le Scalze in Pontecorvo with workshops to create “poor” jewels, a visit to the church, music and artisan chocolate!
Wednesday February 14 2018 It will take place "Naples #Artigiana", An interesting initiative that is part of the project"A Naples a day ”experience, a cycle of events born with the aim of enhancing and networking the most dynamic realities of the city and at the same time inviting the participants to live a concrete experience, giving them the opportunity to get to know, with a direct comparison, the protagonists told about the most extensive citytelling project A Naples a Day. In this case it leads us to the discovery ofancient Neapolitan "lattonaia" tradition and, at the same time, it will make us do one plunge into multiculturalism.
The initiative, to be held at Scalze complex in Pontecorvo in the historic center, it enjoys the patronage of the Youth Department, creativity and innovation of the Municipality and the collaboration of the laboratories Tin adventure of which we want to make everyone known the exclusive jewels made.
The protagonists will be migrants, non-EU citizens and political refugees that will show us craft techniques with the poor metals making all participants live a first-hand experience because anyone can delight in the same techniques.

Jewels with poor metals, tastings and guided tours in a single multicultural experience
The appointment includes participation in the workshop in which a group of migrants, immigrants and political refugees will show how you can make real jewels using brass, copper and steel and participants will be able to try their hand at this activity by putting into practice what they have learned. Once the jewel is made, it can be worn away with him. Participation in the workshop must be booked and a contribution will be paid to support the Latta Adventure activities.
After this wonderful activity, you can participate in the guided tour of the Church of San Giuseppe delle Scalze with the leadership of the Le Scalze Association which takes care, throughout the year, of its enhancement also through socio-cultural activities such as Marvelous Market, the Independent Design Fair which promotes self-production and creativity. In the evening they will be there tasting of chocolates from the Neapolitan chocolatier Gay Odin and a musical performance by Marzouk Mejri of Arts Migrants.
Finally, throughout the event it will be possible to access the exhibition and exclusive sale of the new one jewelry collection of Adventure of Tin, whose production further supports the artistic-creative and social laboratories. All these events are free, excluding the contribution to be paid only for those who want to participate in the craft workshop.
