From 17 to 20 December 2013 in the city of Naples will be circulated to alternate plates. Here are the times and the modalities
The level of smog in the city of Naples is reaching, in these days, really critical levels, which are added to the protracted exceeding the limit set for PM10 (fine particles).
After the numerous traffic blocks and stop to vehicular traffic in recent days, the Municipal Administration has decided that from tomorrow, 17 December 2013, and up to 20 December 2013, in the city area will be allowed only the circulation to alternate plates. These are the methods and the calendar to be respected:
- 17 December 2013 from 16 to 24: traffic ban for cars whose last number on the plate appears to be odd
- 18 December 2013 from 00 to 24: traffic ban for cars whose last number on the plate appears to be equal
- 19 December 2013 from 00 to 24, traffic prohibition for cars whose last figure of the plate turns out to be odd
- 20 December 2013, from 00 to 24, there is a traffic ban for cars whose last number on the plate appears to be equal
There will, obviously, be the due exceptions, including mopeds and 4-stroke motorcycles, vehicles powered by LPG or methane, vehicles with at least three people on board (car-pooling) excluding euro 0 and euro 1. It will also be reduced the duration of ignition of the heating elements, from 10 to 9 hours in the day, and the temperature that will pass to 18 degrees in buildings and to 17 degrees for industrial ones.
