Gay Village Borgo Marinari

The Gay Village at Borgo Marinari is the first village in southern Italy dedicated to the gay community. Every week events open to everyone, regardless of their orientation

This is the first and only space, at least for now, dedicated to Lgbt community and will be set up at Borgo Marinari, in the splendid setting of the Neapolitan seafront. The initiative was successfully promoted by Carlo Cremona, the spokesperson of the Gay Pride National of Naples.

From this month, every Friday until August, the area will come alive thanks to the events that will be organized. You can have fun with artistic and musical performances, themed dinners, cocktails and much more. The venues that will host the various events will be Le Bar, Mar. sal, Transatlantico and Megaride and the community animation groups will take care of the entertainment of those who want to participate.

The entrance to the village will be free and, of course, everyone can participate, regardless of their sexual orientation.

Not only that, the village will also host well-known personalities in the LGBT world such as the Free Lovers, Sara Carbone with Michael Massi of the Angels of Love, the Ego Difference dell'Aperipride, Coming Out and Miss Priscilla Drag Queen, that is the Miss Italia Drag Queen of the 2007.

Certainly could not miss the collaboration with the next Gay Pride, which will take place on June 29th. In fact, the annual gay pride parade will end right at Borgo Marinari, at the gay village. Right here, in front of Castel dell'Ovo, one will be organized big party for the occasion.

Carlo Cremona has also invited the new, and first, gay city soccer team, i Pochos, to be the godfathers of the event, also hopes in the presence of the mayor of Naples, Luigi De Magistris, and in that councilor for Culture Nino Daniele and the president of the first municipality Fabio Chiosi.

Trust, so, in the fact that the institutions will demonstrate theirs solidarity to the gay world; which, among other things, they did not fail to do on the occasion of the last ones homophobic events in the city and with the celebration of the first gay wedding in Naples.
