The Napoli Pizza Village returns to the Naples waterfront. The event will welcome over half a million people
The year returns again Naples Pizza Village, the largest pizzeria in the world. For the 2014 edition there will be 50 historic pizzerias that will churn out 46 pizzas per minute for a total of about 100.000!
The event will be held, as always, on the Waterfront of Naples will take place from 2 at the 7 September 2014 and the forecasts, launched by the Neapolitan Pizzaiuoli Association, state that well over half a million people will participate. An event that will not only allow you to enjoy traditional pizzas in the open air and accompanied by the sea, but which will entertain you with shows, concerts and shows.
The Village of Pizza Village in Naples
A surface of approx 30.000 square meters, on the liberated Lungomare, will welcome 150 pizza makers and 450 collaborators from 50 pizzerias historical of Naples and province. For visitors will be available 4.700 seats total.
Prices
Entrance to the Naples Pizza Village it's completely free, price quotation, and buying a ticket, available at the price of 12 euro, it will be possible to taste one menu including:
- pizza (margherita or marinara) Each pizzeria is free to prepare its own specialty, in addition.
- beverage (water, Coca Cola or Peroni beer).
- gelato (Cucciolone Disc or Cucciolone Cooky) or sweet.

The Pizza Village Program

Pizzaiolo World Championship
The 13 ° Pizzaiolo World Championship will be the event in the event. Participants 500 competitors, coming from 5 continents, which will not only contend with the title, but will compete in particular performances of "acrobatic pizza".
Temporary traffic device
During the days of the event a temporary traffic device will be established that will mainly affect cyclists and which includes the following provisions:
- the cycle path will be suspended in the section between Piazza della Repubblica and the confluence with Viale Anton Dohrn with the obligation for cyclists to drive the bicycle by hand, in accordance with the provisions of Article 182 paragraph 4 of the Highway Code, in affected section;
- an emergency lane will be established in the pedestrian area of via Francesco Caracciolo between Piazza della Repubblica and the confluence with Viale Anton Dohrn, between the sidewalk (Villa Comunale side) and the area intended for gazebos.
