The Naples Pizza Village 2017 will be in June on the Lungomare and will last 9 days with free concerts, workshops, courses and special menus!
What better way to inaugurate the summer season than with the Naples Pizza Village 2017? The largest outdoor pizzeria in the world as always dedicates a festival to the queen of Neapolitan cuisine on Lungomare Caracciolo and this year will not take place in September, but by 17 25 to June. Due to the success of previous editions, the duration of the event has been increased from 6 to 9 days.
The month of June was chosen instead of September, both for meteorological reasons and for intercepting a greater tourist flow. The key moments will be i two weekends, during which you can eat the pizza even at lunch time.
The program is rich in content: concerts free, workshops, exhibitions and conferences open to all. An area of 30.000 square meters will host approximately 50 of the best pizzerias in Campania, while hundreds of international pizza makers will churn out more than 100.000 pizzas.
For the celiac there will be the gluten-free pizza at the Pizzeria "Il Guappo" and also a full menu with beer, dessert or ice cream.

Concerts, Shows & Gigs
Every evening there will be a concert of one big on the stage (at the intersection with Dohrn avenue) which will be followed by performances by local artists.

World Championship of Pizzaiuolo XV Caputo Trophy
From the 19 to the 21 June will take place the World Pizza-Making Championship in the Pizza Stadium set up on the Lungomare with 600 pizzaioli from the 5 continents that will compete in the following 8 categories:

Pizza Class
You can follow the evening classes of the Pizza Class for learn all the secrets to make a perfect pizza together with the master pizza makers who will teach the public the techniques to use in the pizzeria. They can participate in each course maximum 16 Guests and there are two courses a day. To participate you must register and pay the fee for 10 €, which will be entirely donated to the Association "A heart for a direct friend" by prof. Carlo Vosa.
NPV Kids
I children can learn, playing and having fun, the secrets of pizza through an educational path. they will discover the story with the puppets of the Ferraiolo family, know their nutritional properties and participate in workshops with a special wood-burning oven to cook a real Neapolitan pizza. The courses are held every afternoon upon reservation.
NPV Art house pizza
Nine world-famous pizza makers will create special pizzas opening up to new experiments and they will make their own author proposals. They will present them to the judges and exceptional testimonials of Off_Foodblogaward | Pizza_Village who will evaluate them and decide the winner. The special pizzas they will be able to taste by booking the art house menu.
Food Blog Award Pizza Village
Food Blog Award Pizza Village is an exclusive event in which i will participate most famous Italian food bloggers and will be awarded 9 unpublished recipes on pizza made in a masterly way by 9 top player of the world pizzeria.
