In October the eleventh edition of the Discodays at the Casa della Musica, with an exhibition on the Beatles that for the first time makes a stop in Naples
It has now reached his eleventh edition one of the most anticipated events by vinyl lovers, the DiscoDays. After the success and the party for the goal of the X edition of the event, the next appointment promises to be full of guests and news.
The date to be marked on the calendar is the 13 October 2013: that Sunday you can immerse yourself in the world of vinyl records and good music. “The preservation and dissemination of the culture of music and for the promotion of its listening” is, in fact, the main objective of the organizers, which they manage to achieve every year also thanks to the exhibitions set up and the invited guests.
This 13 October, among the most anticipated guests there will be Gigio Rosa, speaker of Radio Marte Stereo, from this year the main partner of Discodays, e Guido Harari (update: Guido Harari will not be able to be present on October 13th for personal / family reasons that cannot be postponed). The latter is the author of several music covers of successful albums by artists such as Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Fabrizo De Andrè, Ligabue, Casco Rossi, Frank Zappa and Paolo Conte.
The prize will be awarded to Harari "DiscoDays - Music Photography“, As a tribute to his remarkable career that has made him one of the reference points for musical photography. Furthermore, his “Wall of Sound Gallery”, which collects all his works, has contributed significantly to the dissemination of good music.
The news does not end there: on October 13 the traveling exhibition will also be presented "All you need is paint“, With 70 works dedicated to the legendary Beatles and which for the first time will stop in Naples.
We also remember that singers and bands that have recorded a disc, but have not yet published it, can send a request to the organizers of Discodays, within 30 September 2013, to try to return to a project which will be presented on the day of the eleventh edition of the event. The request can be sent via the Discodays Facebook page, indicating the references to his artistic activity and his musical production.
