For about a year and a half the Hermann Nitsch Museum Archive Laboratory for Contemporary Arts will host the exhibition on the works of the most criticized and deplored Austrian artist

Blood, animals quartered, men crucified: this is the controversial and criticized art of the greatest exponent of the Viennese action Hermann Nitsch.

The whole philosophy of the artist is on show with "Pictorial action - excess and sensuality "from 25 October 2014 at the Museum Archive Laboratory for Hermann Nitsch Contemporary Arts in Naples and will continue until February 28 2016.

A great opportunity for expressionist art lovers, since Nitsch is the only artist in life to whom they have been dedicated two museums monographic.
One in Vienna, the Nitsch Museum in Mistelbach, the other in Naples where they stay, since the 60 years, the "Wrecks", the artistic-theatrical collection of the Austrian master.

The current exhibition in Naples is divided into 70 masterpieces between canvases, photos and videos arrived directly from the Austrian museum and analyzes the theme of genesis, development and the link with the Theater of Orgies and Mysteries.

Nitsch-low

In a nutshell, Nitsch, through images that are harsh, violent and of great emotional impact, intends to bring human nature back into its real dimension and for this purpose the sacrifice of man appears to be necessary. True meanings, "naked and raw" precisely, concealed by equally strong forms.

Furthermore, part of the Neapolitan production has flown in Mistelbach for a contemporary exhibition that will last until March 2016, witnessing the strong link between the Viennese and Italian culture.
An important cultural exchange occurred thanks to the particular commitment of Giuseppe Morra, great friend, passionate and collector of Nitsch, and founder of the prestigious Neapolitan archive museum.
