On March 28, 2016 , the occupied former OPG of Materdei will be the protagonist of the “Popular Easter Monday” , a fun day dedicated to all citizens who intend to spend Easter Monday in the city.

The event features a wealth of enjoyable activities that will keep all participants engaged from morning until night. The day's program includes a delicious breakfast followed by an interesting guided tour of the former OPG and the exhibitions in the detention wings.

The event will continue with the inevitable five-a-side football matches and the traditional and delicious non-stop barbecue, complete with beer, grappa, amaro, and wine. And that's not all, because from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, there will also be plenty of games and activities for children, while at sunset the highly anticipated Tony Tammaro will perform in a fun concert.

A wonderful Easter Monday to spend together without the stress of day trips amidst traffic, crowds, and endless queues—an alternative idea sure to entertain and surprise everyone.
