Pierluigi Diaco ha censored, made to apologize and much more at a competitor of his TV show for saying a soft “swear word” on air. This is what happened during the airing of BellaMa broadcast from Monday to Friday, from 15:30 to 17:00 on Rai. In the program 20 people challenge each other forming two teams: Generation Z (ages 18-25) vs Boomer (55-90 years).

During the episode of the 25 January 2023, a competitor to the Boomers said "What balls are you". Words not accepted by the presenter making him particularly irritated:

“You can't swear, I absolutely forbid it and I apologize to the audience, apologize to the audience. Swear words are not said, especially on TV. Starting tomorrow, you're grounded."

La boomers you are immediately sorry, but this is not enough for Diaco who replied:

“Raffaella, you can't swear on TV, it can't be done. Actually I'm telling you, I'm telling everyone, it's unpleasant. Instinctive reactions on TV are controlled, we are the public service and cannot be said

Here is the video of what happened:

The reaction of the spectators

But many they didn't appreciate the stiffness of the presenter and have invaded of Comments his Instagram profile with phrases like:

What a ball you and all the idiotic moralists like you. You should apologize to that lady.

I was appalled, as well as strongly disappointed and annoyed by her very unkind and I would say almost bordering on rudeness way of addressing her guest. I thought her an intelligent person with a certain sensitivity; I changed my mind.

So many other comments are violent e discriminatory so we won't bring them back.
