The complex

The Girolamini complex, located in the heart of Naples at the intersection of via Duomo and via dei Tribunali, was founded between the end of the sixteenth century and the first half of the seventeenth century, and enlarged during the following century, until it became National Monument in a 1866.

The complex includes:

    • la monumental church
    • la quadreria
    • la famous library

All its rooms host masterpieces of the late-mannerism Roman and Neapolitan, of the naturalism and barocco triumphant.

  • Saturday and Sunday 8.30 - 14.00
  • the library can not be visited
  • last entry one hour before closing
  • the ticket office closes one hour before closing
  • Wednesday closed

Price tickets:

  • Whole 5 €
  • Reduced 2,50 €
  • Free on the first Sunday of the month
  • The cost of tickets may vary depending on the exposures in progress

  • Address: Via Duomo, 142 - 80138 Naples
  • From Piazza Garibaldi: L2 metro line, Cavour station, take Via Foria, turn right onto Via Duomo and continue until Piazza Gerolomini (on the right, about 10 minutes on foot)
