Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Naples

Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Naples

The course

Corso Vittorio Emanuele, formerly Corso Maria Teresa and built in the 19th century by the will of Ferdinand II, represents one of the main streets of the city connected to the low city and Vomero district.

The Course, which starts from piazza Mazzini and it reaches up to Via Piedigrotta (length of 4,5 km), presents a long stretch that offers to those who travel splendid views of the city and the Gulf, thanks to a provision of the same Ferdinand II who ordered that the buildings occupied the road only on the side of the mountain.
