The Museum of the Underground in Naples

The Museum
The Museo del Sottosuolo, located in Piazza Cavour and dug into the tuff stone, consists of a ancient anti-aircraft shelter dating back to the Second World War. Inside, during the cleaning operations, among the many materials the tools of the quarrymen were brought to light, such as ice axes and oil lamps, and still ampoules and containers used inside the pharmacies of the time.
Moreover, the Museum lends itself to a suggestive location ad events of all kinds, including exhibitions of contemporary art, food and wine and concerts.
