The twenty-sixth edition of the Festival will take place starting from Saturday 24 and until Friday 30 July 2021 Pomigliano Jazz in Campania.
The program of this new edition of the review that has now become a tradition for citizens is really rich and includes exclusive concerts, unpublished productions, unique encounters as well as many guests including Italian and international musicians.
XXVI edition of Pomigliano Jazz in Campania
The 2021 edition of Pomigliano Jazz in Campania includes various appointments with the participation of jazz musicians and international artists such as: Dave Douglas, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Aymée Nuviola, Enzo Avitabile, Stefano Di Battista, Marco Zurzolo, the Neapolitan Jazz Orchestra, Maria Pia De Vito, Luca Aquino, and many others.
There will also be a tribute to Ennio Morricone, the great composer who passed away last year, and the tribute to Pino Daniele.
The first two appointments, on 24 and 25 July, will be held in two special locations, while all the other events will be held at the Pomigliano d'Arco Public Park. Every evening at 20:30 the pianist Franco Piccinno and the producer Marco De Falco will open the evening with always different live performances.

July 24
At 18:00 theopening event on the great cone of Vesuvius. It will be a special concert at an altitude of 1200 meters with the American trumpeter and composer Dave Douglas, the Neapolitan saxophonist Marco Zurzolo and the two double bass players, Aldo Vigorito e Federica Michisanti.
July 25
The special event at the Roman Amphitheater in Avella Sound Trespassing with Enzo Avitabile and the Neapolitan Jazz Orchestra, with maestro Mario Raja.
July 27
Icarus Alone the concert of the Italian trumpeter Luke Aquinas, to follow the concert by Marco Zurzolo and MVM Band with Dave Douglas.
July 28
Appointment with Tony Miele "Needed Noises Trio " and to follow Gonzalo Rubalcaba who will perform in Latin rascal, it is a tribute to Pino Daniele, with various guests such as Maria Pia DeVito, Aymee Nuviola, Daniele Sepe, Aldo Vigorito, Claudius Roman e John Learned.
July 29
The trumpeter quartet show Flavius Dapiran and to follow Gonzalo Rubalcaba together with the Cuban singer Aymée Nuciola.
July 30
Final evening of Pomigliano Jazz with the orchestra of rhythm and improvisation at 19 pm. Subsequently the Kronos trio composed by the pianist Stephen Falcone, by the drummer Giuseppe D'Alessandro and the double bass player Ilaria Capalbo. Following Stefano Di Battista with Morricone Stories.
