The Positano Teatro 2017 Festival pays tribute to Lina Sastri: scheduled free performances by Ruccello and Oscar Wilde!
Il Positano 2017 Theater Festival will be held from the 26 July to the 7 August, with a richer program than ever before. Now in its fourteenth edition, the festival is dedicated to Annibale Ruccello, which is also entitled a special prize.
This year's winner is Lina Sastri, Neapolitan artist who will inaugurate the event with a theatrical and musical performance. There are well planned fourteen shows with free admission, who will see works by great authors on stage. Among these, also a pièce by Oscar Wilde, Annibale Ruccello and Irène Némirowsky. It was decided to organize the Festival in places of Positano panoramic and suggestive, less known but equally wonderful.
The selected locations are the Square of the Mother Church, Piazzetta della Chiesa Nuova, Piazzetta di Montepertuso, the Belvedere di Nocelle, the Village of Liparlati, La Garitta. The event is also a way to raise residents and lovers of the coast, hit in recent days by the terrible fires of Montepertuso.
