Many suggestive locations for the Pozzuoli Jazz Festival 2016 with international level artists!
Il 22nd June al Solfatara volcano the opening concert of the Pozzuoli Jazz Festival 2016, guest of exception Paolo Fresu.
The JP-Parthenopean Jazz Orchestra composed of 22 among the most talented Neapolitan musicians will perform. We remember Pino Jodice, great pianist, composer and conductor known all over the world and Giuliana Soscia, phenomenal accordionist. The orchestra will propose a program of music inspired by the Mediterranean; starting from the folklore of the popular festivals of the land of the guest star Paolo Fresu, to the homage to Pino Daniele with “Chi tene o mare” and then back to Sardinian melodies and the Neapolitan taranta.
The debut of the Parthenopea Jazz Orchestra took place in 2015 atInternational Jazz Day but she had already performed at the Italian Jazz Day in the city of L'Aquila with the participation of Paolo Fresu, an artist always in search of musical novelties, both as an interpreter and as a producer, recognized as the best jazz player internationally.
This is only the first of many events that will take place until the 13 August in the most evocative archaeological sites.
