Three young actors from "Gomorra - La Serie" and "Casa Surace" to tell Mario Gelardi's "40 meters from the ground", the story of four workers who risk their jobs.
Al New Health Theater of Naples the Wednesday evening appointments continue with the review Tales in winter, the project conceived by Carlo Caracciolo to rediscover the link between writers, actors and spectators, to listen to a story all together after dinner, sipping a hot tea, just like in the days of stories around the fire.
This time, scheduled for Wednesday November 22 2017, will be present to the public the story of Mario Gelardi At 40 meters from the ground, which will feature three young actors as protagonists: Carlo Caracciolo e Andrea Di Maria, new entry in fiction Gomorrah, and Irene Fat which, together with Andrea Di Maria, is one of the famous faces of Casa Surace.
At 40 meters from the ground, a dramatic and current account of the precariousness of work
At 40 meters from the ground it's a dramatic story more current than ever. Four workers see their jobs at risk and, to protest against their precariousness, they decide to climb to the top of a building under construction for seven days. Meanwhile, a world of ants is agitated at their feet, including their four families, who await them in anxiety under that building, but also journalists, local TV, friends and the curious. As in one of those many true stories that we are used to listening distractedly on the news.
The four workers remain for seven long days alone on a forty meters building, until, for some of them, fatigue is felt, due to age and health problems and, one after the other, they come down. Only one of them is determined in his struggle for life, and many eyes remain to look upwards, towards the worker who does not want to know how to get off.
