La Ravello Foundation celebrates the Easter with a special concert to be held in the morning of Easter Monday (April 10), or Easter Mondayat the Cathedral of Ravello.
The event will start at 11.30 with theOrchestra and Chorus of the Teatro G. Verdi of Salerno which will perform the Magnificat and Gloria by Antonio Vivaldi, preceded by Symphony for Strings and Continuo "At the Holy Sepulchre".
He will be directing the concert George Petrou, one of the major interpreters of the Baroque repertoire who inaugurates his Italian engagements of the year in Ravello. The Greek master, candidate for Grammy and winner of the Echo Klassik, he boasts a notable international career. Finally, the soloists for the appointment of City of Music they will be the contralto Frances Ascioti and the soprano Daniel Cappiello.
