After the succession of works begun in November 2017 due to a separation of material, in Naples the Galleria Laziale reopens.

They are finished the works which concerned the securing of the Lazio Gallery, which in November had presented problems due to widespread deterioration along the entire length of the tunnel, highlighted by the inspections carried out following the detachment of material the 11 November 2017 occurred. From 6 on April 2018, therefore, circulation is back to normal.

However, the disruptions only related to the external cladding of the tunnel, not prejudicing Than we structural stability of the same. The widespread diffusion of the deterioration, which involved the entire length of the work, made it necessary an intervention divided into two phases, aimed at definitively averting that other detachments of material could be presented again in the future.

Furthermore, it was restored the bus lane coming from Piazza Sannazaro towards Fuorigrotta, ie the lines 151 - R7 - 618 - N1, which resume their regular route. It was also the 2174 stop has been reactivated in via delle Legioni.

The works were performed in night time to limit the inconvenience and were in any case suspended during public holidays and sporting events. The interventions are added to those planned under action 2.2.1 of the PON Metro 2014-2020 aimed at immediate and effective management of risk events that could occur in the gallery.
