  • 8 medium squid
  • 500 gr piennolo cherry tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 sprig of basil

Prepare the sauce

Clean and carefully wash the squids, removing the entrails and the part of the snout. Cut the squids into rounds and also the tomatoes. Fry a clove of garlic in a pan with the oil and add the chopped pepper into chunks. Fry the tomatoes, creating a sort of tasty sauce.

Cooking the squids

In a separate pan fry the other garlic clove, a little oil and the basil, adding the calamari as soon as the garlic has browned. Sfumate everything with white wine.
Add the squid to the sauce and cook for 10 minutes. Add salt only if necessary because the fish generally tends to be savory on its own, and cook until the squid becomes tender.
