Ingredients

  • 400 gr minced beef meat
  • 200 gr stale bread
  • abundant basil
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 gr parmigiano reggiano
  • Salt and Pepper To Taste
  • 1 clove of ease
  • 300 ml tomato puree
  • extra virgin olive oil as needed
  • ½ white onion

Knead the meatballs

After soaking the stale bread for 10-15 minutes in water, we work the minced beef, the eggs, the Parmesan cheese with your hands. Season with salt and pepper, add the part of the bread crumbs well streaked and knead well. We season this mixture with the peeled garlic clove and let rest in the fridge.

Prepare the sauce

Proceed with preparing a good tomato sauce by placing a large pot of extra virgin olive oil and chopped onion in a large pot on medium heat. Fry a few seconds and add the tomato sauce, seasoning with a part of the basil.

Prepare the meatballs

With the mixture of meat and well-seasoned bread we form many balls to be placed gently in the pot of the sauce and let them cook for at least 15 min, before dressing with other chopped basil and serve hot.
