The celebrated returns with renewed enthusiasm Feast of the Lilies in Barra, transforming the district of Naples at an epicenter of culture and traditions. From 31 August to 25 September 2023, the three-year break comes to an end, giving way to a wide range of activities and rituals that embody community identity in a vibrant framework of artistic expressions.
The Meaning of the Feast of the Lilies
The event is not a mere temporary show, but a pillar of the community of Barra with historical roots dating back to 1822. It acts as a catalyst for community unity, consolidating local identity. The event got a institutional recognition with the recent formation of the foundation "The Lilies of Barra" by the Local Government of Naples.
The Lily Parade
