In particular, it was the same company that took care of the set-up that made the decision to temporarily interrupt the works. The reasons for blocking construction work on the Ferris wheel
The Ferris Wheel, consisting of 220 kilos of iron for a height of 50 metres, was supposed to stay for 60 days, an attraction for many tourists. However, there has been a lot of controversy surrounding this situation. Loris Tulimeri, one of the managers of the company that supplies the Ferris wheel, explained that the opinion of the Superintendence is not necessary to proceed with the installation.
As for the situation papers, City Eye maintains that no permit is required, either from the Superintendency or from other territorial authorities. However, once the superintendency received the documents, it replied explaining that it had a negative opinion, offering the possibility of offering within ten days counterarguments.
Another tricky issue is the fee charged by the port authority which is less than 2700 euros. An excessively low figure according to those who contest the decision.
