In Magliano Nuovo (Sa) will take place the Cavalieri Magati Festival 2014, with a menu full of courses and lots of fun with local bands. From the 31 July to the 6 August 2014
The Feast of flour forca - Festival of Cavatiello Maglianese, in Magliano Nuovo in the province of Salerno, with events, mouth-watering menus and guaranteed fun.
Also for this 2014, from the 31 July to the 6 August, the town of Magliano will make available to the public one of its most important traditions and will allow the tasting of the famous Cavatiello Maglianese in all its taste declinations.
It is a really exquisite type of pasta, above all because kneading it and cooking it will be the best housewives of the village, whose hands enclose centuries of experience and local tradition.
The patrons of the festival will satisfy the palate and the stomach thanks to a rich menu, which will unfold in a particular tour of taste, which includes many courses, naturally based on cavatielli.
There will be, among the many courses, cavatielli with castrato sauce (or in the version with sauce and basil), grilled trout, grilled sausage and a wide selection of cold cuts and cheeses. All accompanied by mugs of craft beer or a glass of wine, as well as from donuts, struffoli and dried pasta.
During the ghiotte eat, you will listen to the local music of the folk bands of the village, which will move between the streets and alleys of the small town.
