Ad agerola, a municipality in the province of Naples, on August 14, 2023 an appointment not to be missed with will take place Gusta la Patata, the festival dedicated to the Agerolese potato. It is one of the most awaited events of the place, which as per tradition takes place in thethe village of Santa Maria in conjunction with the celebration of Our Lady of the Assumption, whose wooden statue is kept in the Church of Santa Maria La Manna.
Traditions, good food and fun
The 2023 edition, which then corresponds to number 18, will be a very important edition because it will be the first after the pandemic. Many guests will therefore be expected who will arrive in the Borgo di Santa Maria just to taste the famous Agerola potato.
It is a truly genuine product, as, thanks to the favorable climate, the soil of the fields is not treated with chemical products, thus allowing those who eat this vegetable to consume a genuine product with a unique taste.
The menu will therefore be rich, the appetizers and first courses will be like the gnocchi, and then second courses, side dishes and finally desserts and fruit. Everything will obviously be accompanied by drinks and good local wine. Of course, there will be no shortage of fun with the music, although the artist lineup hasn't been released yet.
