In Sant'Antonio Abate there will be the porchetta festival as part of the long fair with events, shows, sports and tastings!
The long-awaited returns to Sant'Antonio Abate Sagra della Porchetta, an event that every year attracts thousands of gourmands who can't wait to taste the dishes prepared in the various stands. It will take place 14 from January to 22 2017 and is included in the Sant'Antonio Abate Fair organized by the Faro Cooperative.
During the fair there will be various events, such as shows and initiatives related to the ancient traditions of the place. They will not be missing sport events, cultural, culinary, industrial and agricultural initiatives and much more.
There will be two important guests for the Municipality: Giovanni Abagnale, bronze medalist at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016, and Paola Torrente, second ranking at Miss Italia 2016. Both, in fact, were born in Sant'Antonio Abate and will participate in the opening night on January 14th.
