In November 2014 in Sant'Antonio Abate the festival of the "Divin Chestnuts" will open, which will guide you on a tantalizing itinerary among chestnuts and characteristic local wines
La chestnut festival di Sant'Antonio Abate promises to be very eventful and, of course, good food. In addition to tasting the excellent chestnuts typical of the place, there is also a wine tasting and the possibility of attending scientific, gastronomic and oenological educational workshops for children and adults.
It will take place from 3 to 9 november and there will also be a lot of music, which will also accompany the preparation of a medieval camp of the Knights of San Taddeo and San Giuda, with the presence of the Compagnia degli Arcieri Doria di Sant'Antonio Abate.
But it does not end here, in fact, all the spectators can then devour the delicate autumn dishes, traditional dishes typical of Campania. The project was supported by the "Napoli è ..." Association, with the assistance of the Municipality of Sant'Antonio Abate e with the collaboration of the Youth Forum of Sant'Antonio Abate.
The proceeds from the Chestnut Festival will be donated partly to Telethon and partly to local native families in difficulty.
