Back to the Sea Festival in the Villa Comunale of Bacoli, to savor many local dishes based on fish
Will be held from the 27 to the 31 August 2014 the famous one 2014 Sea Festival in Bacoli, canceled last July due to the severe weather that hit the area.
The eagerly awaited Bacolese festival will take place in the Villa Comunale of Bacoli and will be organized by the "Amici del Mare" association which sets up the Feast of the Sea since 2003, making it a fixed end-of-season event in the whole Phlegraean area. As tradition dictates, for more than ten years, visitors to the festival will be able to browse through local craft stands, admire art exhibitions, taste typical local products and savor, evening after evening, different menu based on fish offered by the traditional Bacolese cuisine.
The dishes of the Feast of the Sea they will all be prepared by the housewives and activists of the association and will delight the palate of visitors with seaweed zeppoline, pasta and beans with mussels, peppered with mussels, appetizers, spaghetti with clams, fried fish, desserts and much more. All caught in the waters of our gulf and accompanied by good local wine.
To enliven the evenings fashion shows, beauty contests, dance performances and concerts.
