First edition of the Hazelnut Festival in Boscoreale (NA), including tastings of ice creams, cakes, coffee and stuffed pancakes
In the municipality of Boscoreale, in the province of Naples, will be held the first edition of the Festa della Nocciola, from 26 to 28 September 2014. An opportunity to savor one of the typical products of the area, where there are dozens of hectares of land used for hazelnut groves, especially in the rural area, but also close to the historic center.
The gastronomic event will take place in piazza Vargas, sponsored by the Municipality, conceived and organized by the cultural association "Silva Regia" in collaboration with another association active in the area "AC Marilyn", which among its objectives have placed in the foreground the relaunch of personal resources and the territory through the enhancement of professionalism and typical and indigenous products.
During the Feast of the Hazelnut of Boscoreale visitors will be able to taste the products derived from hazelnuts. such as ice cream, pastries, hazelnut coffee and stuffed pancakes, and browse through the stands of handicrafts.
During the three evenings, moments of entertainment will also be organized, including evenings of quiz games with the use of mobile phones, performances by local dance schools, singing performances by young local artists, cabaret, tammorra, performances by local actors. On Saturday evening, awards and plaques will be given to local personalities and artists who with their work have contributed to bringing a positive image of the country outside the local borders.
