The traditional festivals in Campania for the Easter and Easter holidays 2016!
In Campania, for the Holy Week several have been organized events dedicated to Easter and Passion, with processions, parties and tasting of typical products of these festivities.
More than for festivals, for the weekend of Easter and Easter Monday 2016 in Campania there will be theme events to celebrate these sacred days. To the Castle of Arechi you can enjoy a full lunch and also visit the suggestive structure, while in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi there will be the typical flight of the angel with a child who will turn on those present.
Furthermore, there will be many traditional processions in which local customs will be associated, such as those of the flying of Sorrento.

Easter Monday at Castello Arechi
In Salerno we will celebrate Easter Monday with a guided tour of the Arechi Castle and with a lunch with many typical specialties of the territory. Easter in Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi
In Sant'Angelo dei Lombardi Easter will be celebrated with popular and religious traditions, events and many initiatives. First of all there will be community prayers from 18.00 on 25 March and, to follow, the heartfelt procession with a wooden cross and a life-size Christ through the streets of the town. On 26 March the sacred processions will continue, while on Easter day the streets and squares will be filled with smells of dishes prepared by many families that will prepare the eggs in many different ways: boiled, boiled, shelled, fried. All accompanied by the headcheese and from first courses of fresh pasta, lasagne and baked pasta.
On Monday 28 there will be the traditional Easter Monday market with food and wine products, fruit and vegetables and clothing.

Angel Flight
The traditional Flight of the Angel will take place in Carpignano. After the procession in the village, on Easter Monday, in the Church of the Madonna del Carmine a child-angel suspended in the air will recite the prayer to the Virgin with a text that changes every year thanks to local writers. Passio Christi
The Pro Loco of Taurano organizes the Passio Christi which stages the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus with a show that is more exciting every year. It will begin with the Last Supper in the locality of San Giovanni del Palco and will continue in the historic center up to "Monte Golgota" in the Pantanelle locality.

Holy Week in Minori
In Minori the traditional processions and initiatives for Easter will take place, including the typical procession of the Flying, dressed in white, with a crude belt of hemp rope and a white hood.
