Festivals in Campania | Do you taste the Marche? in Ariano Irpino
The “Te gusta la Marchigiana” festival will be held from 6 to 8 September in Ariano Irpino and will be entirely dedicated to beef!
This is the fourth edition of the gastronomic kermesse entirely dedicated to the bovine breed and will be held inside the Exhibition Center "Fairs of Campania", at Ariano Irpino. From the Spanish title "Te gusta la Marche?", The event is configured as a real festival and was organized by the ES Association.
The Marches meat is among the best and most tender of our territory, thanks to the history of intersections that sees it as a protagonist. In fact, from the mid-ninth century, the Marchese breeders crossed the native podolico cattle with Chianini bulls to obtain a meat of superior quality. The current characteristics of this meat were then obtained during the last century thanks to a further intersection with the Romagna breed, which made animals more suitable for working in the fields.
The beef in question, therefore, has become an excellent dish to taste both barbeque, grilled, roasted or cut into strips, both as a first course to season sauces and enhance the fresh pasta homemade in the Irpina area.
You can enjoy it in this 3-day festival accompanied by music, shows and entertainment that will make the evenings even more pleasant. She will also be elected "Miss Te Gusta 2013”And the meeting“ The little Fiat ”will be held.
