The theatrical show "If Steve Jobs Were Born in Naples" will be staged at the Nuovo Teatro Sanità in Naples
Steve Jobs, which revolutionized with its extraordinary technological innovations, the way of listening to music, watching TV and reading, what fate would have if he were born in Naples?
From the book by Antonio Menna, If Steve Jobs Were Born in Naples, the director Pasquale Ioffredo will stage the show of the same name at New Health Theater of Naples. The plot, adapted for the theatrical piece by Mauro Di Rosa, with the music of Eddy Di Napoli, is somewhat exhilarating.
Stefano Lavori (Italian translation by Steve Jobs) lives in Naples and works in the local markets. In his spare time, he is in a garage with a "geek" friend 'Gè' with whom he has designed a revolutionary computer. The result is perfect, but in Italy they have to face a series of obstacles to launch the product on the market. In the end the bureaucracy, corruption and crime prevent the realization of their dream. So the two partners, who have lost everything, must do in order to live the garagisti.
History, which has many comic aspects, reveals a bitter reality, especially in the south of Italy, where meritocracy is almost never recognized and rewarded nepotism.
