Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, just over two months after the coronation of King Charles III, ended up again in the eye of the storm: the English sovereign, after the publication of "Spare-The Minor", decided to evict them from Frogmore Cottage. Here are all the unpublished details.

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, a spokesperson for the principle Harry and Meghan Markle has confirmed a Fox New Digital that, the couple, have been asked to leave Frogmore Cottage by King Charles III.

This led to a further deterioration of ties with the British royal family and precisely during the period of preparations for the coronation of the new English ruler.

Just before the news broke, i Dukes of Sussex they had been spotted by the paparazzi during a rainy evening in Los Angeles at the San Vicente Bungalows, an exclusive members-only club where cell phones and cameras are prohibited.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle evicted from Frogmore Cottage, what do we know

Frogmore Cottage, located in the grounds of Windsor Castle, west London, was intended as principal residence of the couple before the principle Harry and Meghan Markle relinquish royal duties and move to southern California.

The newspaper The Sun reported that Harry's father, the king, started the eviction process on11 January 2023, just days after her second son's explosive memoir was published.

The revelations made in "Spare-The minor" would have aggravated the rift between him and the Royal Family. The book, in fact, also includes the account of conversations with the father and brother, the prince William:

“This is a clear sign that Harry and Meghan they are no longer welcome in Windsor due to their revelations and the intrusions into the privacy of many other members of the royal family. He and Prince William are said not to have spoken to them since they spread damaging allegations during their Netflix documentary in December. It was then that the plans were put into action and quickly implemented soon after the release of 'Spare'. The consequences are far more serious than that Harry and Meghan they will simply have to purchase their residence in the UK, should they ever decide to return.”

Secondo house and garden, Frogmore Cottage is a 10 bedroom townhouse built in 1801 at the behest of the Queen Charlotte, appearing in the spinoff of Bridgerton. Its name is an allusion to the numerous frogs that occupy the land and which have also been mentioned by the Queen Victoria in a diary entry.

Frogmore Cottage: This is who the new tenant will be

After the news of eviction of prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the name of the new tenant who will occupy Frogmore Cottage has also emerged: it is the Prince Andrew.

The dukes of Sussex, however, will have until the summer to vacate the house:

“The king is trying to downsize. He doesn't want the royal family to be seen as wasteful or indulgent in a time of cost-of-living crisis. This is around the same time that negotiations for Megxit began in 2020. I believe their lease has expired and the King has simply decided not to renovate it as it was a beautifully renovated house that stood empty for 99% of the year. This is a waste."

With no longer a secure base in the UK, it becomes all the more unlikely that the Sussexes will attend the coronation of King Charles III. In 2022, the lawyers of the Prince Harry they had stated that he was unwilling to bring his family to England because it "wasn't safe."
