Due to work involving major connecting roads in the city, tomorrow's ecological Sunday has been suspended
Initially planned for tomorrow February 15, 2015, ecological Sunday Of this month was suspended.
The provision had been put in place in conjunction with the International Marathon which will take place tomorrow in Naples to block the route taken by the athletes. These will run through the most beautiful streets of the city by crossing the finish line on the Lungomare.
The traffic block should have covered not only the route they traveled, but also the rest of the city. Instead, in the last few hours there has been a turnaround and the municipal administration has announced the suspension of the provision. In fact, tomorrow there will no longer be an ecological Sunday, but only one limited block of traffic which will involve only the roads crossed by the marathon runners and until the end of the race.
The decision about the suspension is due to the current one closure of important road axes which connect many areas in the city, such as via Miano, but also for the many events that will be held during the Carnival and for the work of securing some trees in Via Manzoni.
The Marathon will start from Pozzuoli and will arrive until the Rotonza Diaz on the Lungomare, passing through the historical center.
