Stefano Bollani's concert at the Flegrea Arena in Naples will be a tribute to Neapolitan music!

Tuesday July 19 2016 at the Flegrea Arena in Naples the concert will be held Stefano Bollani who will perform with his friends Nico Gori on clarinet, Daniele Sepe on saxophone and flutes and Manu Katche on drums. The live will be in the context of the review Arena in Jazz.

The artist dedicated his latest album, entitled Naples Trip, to our city, collaborating with various artists coming from different artistic experiences, for example the Norwegian DJ Jan Bang or the Neapolitan Daniele Sepe.

Bollani says that when he goes on stage and performs he always tries to improve himself by taking cues from the music of the past, exploring the present and improvising with the artists that accompany him. During the concert you can listen to some songs dedicated to Pino Daniele and Renato Carosone, a piece By Lorenzo Hengeller is a classic of the Neapolitan song that the artist wanted to include as the last song of his album: the famous Reginella, embellished by the mandolin of Hamilton de Holanda.

The pianist has several passions, in fact when he does not play writing books, he invents plays, he gave life to the microphones of Radio Rai 3 to the character of Doctor Djembè, an ironic and sarcastic musicologist. On television, after the experience with Renzo Arbore, he took part in the program "Sostiene Bollani". Really an artist at 360 degrees.
