Good news for those who have to reach the station of the Tav of Afragola by car because finally hundreds of new parking spaces have been set up outside the structure.
In fact, for some time now denounced the lack of parking spaces at this fundamental and so strategic station and, above all after a press campaign carried out in an incisive manner by the morning, a suitable solution was found.
135 new parking spaces were created in a space of 600 meters of road outside the station, helping to significantly reduce traffic and chaos especially in the early morning hours. It will be the end of the wild stop in the whole area thanks to the new pitches.
How to access the new parking
To create the 135 parking lots, an area that was not originally intended for this purpose was converted. To access, the methods are the same as those already used for other car parks, i.e. the accesses are automated between license plate reading and Telepass.
The prices of the new parking
The prices remain the same already active for the other areas:
- the first half hour is free;
- 80 cents per hour or fraction of an hour;
- 4 euros per day.
Waiting for the megaparking with 1000 parking spaces
Sure this is good news, but even more so will the opening of the large east car park with 1000 parking spaces which would finally put an end to all the problems and controversies relating to the difficulties of finding parking at the Tav of Afragola.
Rfi, Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, a few days ago announced a sprint on the bureaucratic process for its construction and the times have been significantly accelerated.
The aforementioned investigation by the Neapolitan newspaper has helped a lot, through a scandal placed on the front page on the lack of parking spaces, to give a move to all those involved.
Not only that, because at the discussion table open on the issue there was also talk of the upgrading of buses and the creation of a shuttle.
