Black-eyed peas

Perhaps not everyone knows this tasty variant of bean. The cowpea, a variety of legume with white seed and black circle in the shape of an eye, is cultivated in the Valle de Sele and in the Alburni, in the province of Salerno, and in some areas of the Avellino area.
