2022 has not been an easy year for Francesco Totti, but the former Giallorossi captain certainly did not imagine that, due to a new advertising photo published on his social networks, some of his more than five million followers would target him and body shaming.
Il body shaming, or the "social teasing" of someone's body or its "alleged defects", unfortunately not only seems to have become the new fashion of the digital universe, but it's not sparing anyone, not even VIPs.
Latest victim in order of appearance of this shameful practice was Francesco Totti, who after disappearing from social networks for a few months (and just when the gossip magazines had gone crazy due to the news of his divorce from Ilary Blasi), returned and resumed publishing both personal videos and photos both commercials in which he is the protagonist.

Francesco Totti, the comments on social media that hurt
In the photo, in fact, you see a Francesco Totti less fit than usual and also slightly different from what we are used to.
A more than normal fact, especially after a week of Christmas binges (which we all do, and not just VIPs), which however has unleashed very unpleasant comments from some followers:
"Francé, you bought Ilary's handbags"
“Magna de menos, France”
"Francé, you are the boss of the captain"
"Come on for a double chin"
"It doesn't look like him anymore"
“Er king dell'arrosticino”
Words that please no one and which, we hope, will disappear in 2023, together with the practice of body shaming, which in addition to being shameful, denotes a decidedly low level of intelligence of the attacker.
Francesco Totti is only the latest in a series of VIPs who have been attacked for their alleged "physical defects": in fact, we recall that, shortly before Christmas, the victim of these attacks was Jolanda Renga, daughter of Francesco Renga and Ambra Angiolini, who also had given a very intelligent answer to the haters.
