Guided tour of the murals of Parco Merola di Ponticelli with aperitif!
The Econote association, in collaboration with INWARD Observatory on Urban Creativity, has organized for the 16 April 2016, a guided tour of the Park of Murals by Ponticelli, peripheral district of Naples east.
The walk will lead visitors to discover the urban street art, built in an area that, thanks to the social and cultural initiatives that first involved the inhabitants and the support of important public bodies, private companies, is implementing a plan for urban regeneration and social regeneration.
There are four murals already made to which will be added another four of gigantic dimensions and which are a warning of hope and reflection on our society gripped by indifference and often by illegality.
The first artist to be spokesperson for this social message was Jorit, who has portrayed Ael's face, a Roma girl, on the walls of the villa confiscated from the boss. A sweet face with two big eyes wide open to the future, which can be built starting from education, which must be guaranteed to everyone. It is no coincidence that books are also depicted.
We must also educate children to diversity in all its meanings because, as the title of the work underlines, inspired by a song by the Neapolitan singer-songwriter Enzo Avitabile, "Ael. All equal song and creatures“, Or“ Children are all the same ”.
At the end of the tour an aperitif will be offered in the Territorial Center for Urban Creativity by Ponticelli.
