The renowned television series "One step from heaven", broadcast on Rai 1 since 2011, it has always focused on the charm of the settings as one of its distinctive elements. From the origins to the fifth season: San Candido
In the first five seasons of “Un passo dal cielo” we followed the events of Peter Thiene, senior inspector of the Forestry Corps, played by Terence Hill, which operated in the town of San Candido. From the fourth season, the protagonist has given way to the commander of the forestry Francesco Neri, interpreted by Daniele Liotti.
Regardless of the plot, the true jewel of the fiction are the breathtaking landscapes in which the story unfolds. Up until season five, the action was centered around San Candido, a municipality in the province of Bolzano in Trentino-Alto Adige, located in the Alta Pusteria, within the Tre Cime natural park.

From the sixth season: San Vito di Cadore
Starting from the sixth season, the protagonist Francesco Neri moves to San Vito di Cadore, in Veneto. In the seventh season, despite the departure of the character played by Daniele Liotti, the setting remains unchanged. San Vito di Cadore, with just under 2000 inhabitants, is located in the province of Belluno, surrounded by the peaks of Antelao, Pelmo, Croda Marcora and Western Marmarole.

In the seventh season, the character of Manuela Nappi, interpreted by Giusy Buscemi, becomes the absolute protagonist of the series.
