The episode of UPAS yesterday March 8, 2023 was mainly focused on Theresa's funeral. The ceremony, very touching, was indeed one of the most awaited events by the fans of the well-known Italian soap and, above all, of the beloved Teresina. A detail, in this regard, has not gone unnoticed and is that of numerous absent from the function, among all Nunzio, Diego, Ornella and Riccardo.
UPAS: Teresa's funeral between present and absent
THE8 March 2023 was the day fans of A Place in the Sun they attended Theresa's funeral. Othello's wife, in fact, is died in Indica following a sudden illness! An almost inevitable choice for the authors who had to face the death of actress Carmen Scivittaro in August 2022. A heartbreaking episode that really moved everyone: on various social networks the comments of those who, after having witnessed the ceremony, highlighted how the pain and tears of the protagonists were not fiction but real grief over the loss of a friend and colleague.
Yet, not everyone was present in the church. Silvia, Michele, Rossella, Giancarlo, Otello, Guido, Raffaele, Roberto, Marina, Serena and Filippo attended the funeral. Wide, however, the absentee list, first of all Nuncio and Diego. The latter, however, had in any case warned Michele of the impossibility of being present since Caffè Vulcano remained open anyway.
Absent the whole Poggi family (he was amazed by the fact that Renato, a lifelong friend of Othello, missed this appointment) like this like the Woods. Many would have expected to see some former colleagues of Othello like Mariella, Cotugno or Cerruti while what stood out more than any other was the absence of Ornella and Riccardo. For the two, most likely, the cause would be to be found in work reasons they could not escape.
The letter to Rossella, the most moving moment
While the entire ceremony was especially moving, there is a moment more than any other that has catalyzed the attention of the fans and, you can bet, also shed a few tears. It's about the minutes in which Rossella read, next to Teresa's coffin, the words that her grandmother had written to her shortly before she died.

Dear Rossella, you don't know how many times I see you as a child sitting on my lap asking a thousand questions and inventing a thousand games, I'd like to rediscover a bit of our intimacy, take you aside and let me tell you about you, your projects and your future, but life goes fast and time runs out of our hands, so I am writing to you, to stop my thoughts. When I left Naples to move to Indica, even though my beloved Otello was with me, I knew it would be painful to get away from all the people I loved, but I didn't imagine how much it would weigh on me being away from you, not being able to see you grow day by day and become the exceptional woman you are.
