During the birthday party of Louis Calcara, his companion and professor of Engineering at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Valerio Scanu knelt in front of him and, box with the ring close at hand, asked him to marry him.
La proposal, at the beginning, the companion was stunned, but then he accepted it: the two, both 32, then kissed and hugged each other through the tears and applause of friends.
It is the first time that anyone has managed to film Valerio Scanu in the company of his partner, and now future husband, because the winner of the 2010 Sanremo Festival has always been very reserved and, before now, he had never shown himself with him.
What is Valerio Scanu doing now?
Valerio Scanu, lately, he graduated in Law with 110 cum laude and dedicated his thesis to his father, died in 2020 following some complications caused by Covid-19.
He participated in the 2022 edition of A voice for San Marino to try to get on the stage of theEurovision Song Contest 2022 in Turin, but the competition was later won by Achille Lauro (who, however, did not manage to qualify for the final evening).
In the meantime, apart from the wedding and graduation celebrations, it does not seem to have any other television appearances planned.
