The Museum and the gardens of Villa Floridiana will host ArricreARTI, a guided tour of the rich program!

A pre-Christmas weekend dedicated to art, craftsmanship, history and collecting. The fascinating initiative ArricreARTI the will come to life 20 and 21 December 2014, at the Museum and the Park of the Villa Floridiana.

The event, organized by the Association "Arricreare" and under the coordination of the Special Superintendence for the historical, artistic, ethno-anthropological heritage and the Museum Complex of the city of Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta (PSAE), it will present a rich program of special guided tours and artistic exhibitions.

Specifically, the cultural paths will be divided into issues and they will take place in the rooms of the Duca di Martina Museum under the guidance of an art historian. Visitors will be immersed in the exhibition's masterpieces, history, evolution, materials and techniques used.

Floridian museum

An extraordinary excursus that will put to discussion panel direct the past and the current days, bringing to light the transformations and changes in artistic tendencies and practices that have occurred over time.

At the same time at the avenues of the park of the Villa you can admire, under the accompaniment of an artist or a craftsman, works of art, handicraft and design.

Saturday December 20 2014

- 10,00 hours: Guided tour on the history of glass at the core of the glasses of the Duke of Martina
- 10,45 hours: Educational workshop by Aquarubra, Elisa Formicola on the art of glass today

Sunday December 21 2014

- 10,00 hours: Guided tour on collecting in Naples in the nineteenth century and the goldsmith's treasures of the Duke of Martina
- 10,45 hours: Educational workshop by Bobò - Luca and Francesca Capasso - on modern jewelery techniques with an overview of the recent history of jewelery in Naples
