The Hypogeum of the Togati, the village of the Virgins, the house of Totò and the Neapolitan taralli will be the protagonists of an itinerary to be discovered!
Naples is a city of inestimable historical heritage because it is the result of the influence of many cultures and eras. There are numerous testimonies of such wealth necropolis, the tombs, the churches and the underground remains of a territory that has so much to tell.
To know so much beauty just participate, the 21 December 2014, the guided tour at the Hypogeum of the Togati, the Greek necropolis located in the Rione Sanità.
For the occasion, the fascinating route will be preceded by one special tour in the name of the most recent tradition and folklore, made up of local markets and eighteenth-century palaces. Specifically, the walk will immerse visitors in the ancient borgo delle Vergini, home to one of the most famous and experienced markets in Naples.
Here, between one stall and another, you will admire the extraordinary noble architectures Palazzo San Felice and Palazzo Spagnuolo and then continue the path taking Via Santa Maria Antesecula, where you can visit the birthplace of the Prince of Naples, the great and immortal Toto.
From a recent past we will move on to the more ancient one, dug into the tuff, the flagship of the day's program: the visit to the Togati Hypogeum, the so-called "Valley of the dead".
And to complete the journey in antiquity and in the made in Naples tradition, participants will be offered the beloved and always up-to-date ones Taralli Nzogna e Pepe, for a sensorial experience at 360 ° among the perfumes and colors of the real Naples.
