Guided tours of the Catacombs of San Gennaro are back with an evening aperitif accompanied by excellence from Campania!
After the great summer success, the Catacombs of San Gennaro in the Sanità district of Naples they return to be protagonists of the suggestive evening aperitif. The first appointment is Friday 3 February 2017 and will repeat in Saturdays of February.
During the journey you can taste typical products of the Campania region of the best quality, thanks to the gastronomic excellences guests of the event. To open the dances will be Ciro Oliva of Concettina to the Three Saints, between best pizzerias in Italy according to the 2017 Michelin Guide, and microbrewery KBirr.
So you can immerse yourself in the mystery of the hypogeum accompanied by a calzone and a good glass of craft beer. The initiative represents an excellent starting point for rediscover the city's heritage, rich not only from a historical-artistic point of view, but also culinary.
The Catacombs of San Gennaro are a very precious one testimony of Christianity of the Neapolitan people. In fact, in their spaces they are found burials, dating back to the 2nd century AD, of the first Neapolitan Christians and bishops.
