The appointment with the Planet Earth Week event in Campania is renewed: scheduled visits to discover the most beautiful and evocative places of our land.

The event will take place throughout Italy from 4 to 11 October 2020 Planet Earth Week which will offer everyone the opportunity to visit the most beautiful places that are part of our territory. The appointments in Campania are on 7 and 10 October.

In particular there will be over 50 i geosites that you can visit all over Italy which for the occasion will turn into a real geological laboratory, you can in fact go to the discovery of caves, rivers, lakes and then glaciers, underground cellars mines and much more.

It is therefore a beautiful initiative that will allow you to learn about the history of our planet and to discover new places. In particular in Campania they will be two geosites can be visited on the occasion of this event.

The Week of Planet Earth in Campania: here are the places to visit

La Cave of Seiano and Pausilypon Archaeological Park which represent two of the most beautiful places in Naples will be open for the Week of Planet Earth in particular the 7 October 2020.

The Pausilypon Archaeological Park in Roman times it was one of the most luxurious places where the villas of the Senators and rich knights emerged. This is also associated with the protected marine area of ​​Gaiola. Admission is free but reservations are required.

You can also visit the October 10, 2020 la Villa of Poppea to the excavations of Oplontis which belonged to Poppea Sabina, Nero's second wife. The Villa was tragically buried during the eruption of 79 AD. Admission fee e reservations required by 7 October 2020.
