The European Night of Museums 2016

From the 16 to the 21 May 2016, the Casina Pompeiana of the Villa Comunale of Naples will host a photographic exhibition to say "Enough with homophobia”Which causes unjustified attacks of violence, harassment and abuse against the LGBT community (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans). The purpose of the event is to overcome preconceptions and to sensitize viewers to respect for human rights beyond sexual orientation. Marco Tancredi will exhibit 90 fotografie taken during the gay pride of Naples and Foggia, images that show people who, like everyone, have the desire to live love in full freedom, without any distinction of sex, race and social status.

Fireflies and Sibilla
The 20 May 2016 returns the Lucciole e Sibilla event that will take place on Lake Averno in Pozzuoli. According to some historical and literary references, the Sibyl's cave, which was considered an oracle, is located near the lake, for this reason evening visits have been organized during which the ancient legend of the Sibyl will be told, all in aevocative atmosphere created by fireflies.
