In June the new reptile house will be inaugurated inside the Naples Zoo and you can admire many species of snakes, lizards and turtles
Lo Naples Zoo for a long time it has been the protagonist of many questions concerning closures, re-openings and renovations, which left many doubts about the possibility of being able to live it again.
And yet, already for a few weeks, the structure is slowly reborn, also hosting many events for the little ones. A special day, especially for children, coincided with the reopening of the Mostra d'Oltremare, an occasion in which admission to the zoo has been made completely free.
Furthermore, another novelty has been announced, which will also decree an improvement: Monday 2 June there will be the inauguration of the new Reptile. Inside it will be possible to admire numerous reptile species:
- il horned cyclura, better known as the rhinoceros iguana
- la nasuta mesoclemmys, a particular species of turtle
- la morelia spilota, a very common snake in Australia
- theeunectes notaeus, known as the yellow anaconda
- il boa constrictor imperator, snake feared by prey for its ability to crush them
- il basiliscus pluriform, another species of iguana
- il gerrhosaurus nigrolineatus, a particular species of lizard
Naturally, the new reptile house has been designed keeping in mind the temperature, the amount of light and humidity and thehabitat necessary for every species of reptile present within it. In the future, the area destined for the buildings will also be replaced alligatori, as well as the one that includes the farm, but at the moment it will be possible in any case to spend a quiet day among the already restructured and welcoming areas.
