After 25 years the Italian Jet Ski Championship a Napoli to inaugurate the 2023 edition, from 28 to 30 April. The race will be held along the picturesque Lungomare Caracciolo, with the fascinating Rotonda Diaz beach as a backdrop, and will see the most talented Italian drivers at work.
A championship with a large number of participants and young drivers
The 2023 edition of the championship looks promising, thanks to the high number of members, especially among the new generations. This large participation portends an exciting and high-quality competition. Due to the growing membership, the Federation he opted to organize separate competitions for men and women in the youth classes, in order not to exceed the maximum number of participants established by the regulation.
Innovations and competition programme
One of the novelties of this year is the new class of the category endurance F3, where you race with stock jet skis. The races will start Saturday 29 April at 9.05 with free practice, followed by the first heats from 11.40 to 14.00.
La second session of the races will start at 15.00. Sunday 30 April, the day will open at 9.00 with other free practice sessions, followed by the second heats, at the end of which the winners will be awarded.
Competing categories and classes
The competing categories include Runabout, Ski, Endurance, Freestyle, Youth Spark and Youth Ski, while there are 24 classes. After the stage in Naples, the championship will continue with other stages in Torre dell'Orso (12-14 May), Ancona (26-28 May), Idroscalo di Milano (15-17 September) and Civitavecchia (October 6-8).
The organization and preparation of the competition fields will be handled by the organizers of the individual events.
