The plot of the story
The novel tells the story of Paul sheldon, a famous writer, who is saved from a bad car accident by one of his fanatical admirers, Annie Wilkes. However, she turns out to be suffering from serious mental disorders and accuses him of having eliminated her from the story “Misery”, aka his favorite character.
After terrible torture she asks Paul Sheldon to resurrect her in a new novel, the latter therefore has no choice, either he tells or dies.
