History, enchanting landscapes and a fresh aperitif during the boat tour from Castel dell'Ovo to Gaiola
The Curiocity association has organized a wonderful for 6 August 2015 Boat tours on board goitre guided by Neapolitan sailors, who will make us admire the beauty of Naples from the sea.
We will sail from the islet of Megaride where the majestic now stands Castel dell'Ovo, emblematic place of the foundation and history of Naples, around which fascinating legends were born.
From the boat, we will admire Via Partenope, the Villa Comunale, Via Caracciolo, continuing towards the enchanting waterfront of Mergellina and the Church of S. Maria del Parto.
We will reach CapoPosillipo, where are the historians Bathrooms Elena and the elegant Palazzo Donnanna. From here we will observe the famous Villa Rosebery, in neoclassical style, summer residence of the President of the Republic. We will not neglect the vision of the Salt Stone Rock, of the Bay of green rocks, the "fenestella" and the village of Marechiaror, the Church of S. Maria del Faro, up to the islet of the protected area of the Gaiola and the Archaeological Park of Posillipo, landscape and naturalistic casket. Finally we will return to Castel dell'Ovo, for a fresh aperitif with prosecco accompanied by some tasty appetizer.
